Like obviously killing the runtime fee is a good thing to do, but it's been -so long- since it blew up in their face that I've already built a complete vertical slice of a fairly complex project in Godot.
It's been so long since the runtime fee blew up in their faces that I've had time to jump ship to another platform, and learn it well enough to build my most serious project to date in.
@Miredly The benefits of Unity was in its simplicity and leanness. The leanness is definitely gone, and the simplicity gap is closing between that and other options.
Throw bad management and shitty corporate practices on top of that, and the whole thing just crumbles.
